Mazen Chouaib has over twenty (20) years of experience providing strategic and technical advice development cooperation projects across different regions of the world. He has led several monitoring, evaluation and learning assignments for clients including the World Bank, IMF, UNDP, UNESCO, GIZ and other international organisations. Through work in Iraq since 2005, Chouaib has developed deep insight and strong contextual and operational expertise in the Middle East North Africa region as a result of running missions for the Government of Canada. Since then, as the CEO of CLIC and one of the senior Governance and M&E experts, Chouaib has steered over 15 projects in Yemen, Libya, Iraq, Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco, which includes third party monitoring for GIZ, and socio-economic stabilization and development projects for GAC and UNOPS. Under his leadership CLIC is implementing notable monitoring and third-party monitoring projects in North Africa and Jordan, in Zimbabwe, and in Mongolia on behalf of GAC. Chouaib holds a Master of Public Administration, and is fluent in Arabic, English and French.
